1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. This page also covers similar tools that store or read data on your device.
2. How we ask for consent
No cookie for statistics or marketing is stored on or read from your device before you consent, and no tool that requires consent runs before you consent. Google Tag Manager does load on every page, with the consent signals set to denied. In that state no cookie is set and you are given no identifier that could recognise you on a later visit — but Google still receives your IP address, the page you are on, where you came from, and the fact that consent has not been given. This happens on every page view, including if you reject: rejecting keeps the signals set to denied, it does not stop the request itself. One strictly necessary security signal stays permitted so we can protect forms against abuse. If you accept, cookies are set and the tools work normally. Strictly necessary tools can run without consent when the site needs them to work safely. You can reject optional cookies as easily as you can accept them.
3. Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary: site security, form protection, and storage of your consent choice.
- Preferences: choices and embedded content that you choose to load.
- Statistics: data that helps us understand and improve the site.
- Marketing: measurement and targeting of ads.
